Cancellation and Payment Policies

Cancellation Policy

Any cancellations made 15 days or more from the arrival date can be made free of charge.

Any cancellation received within 14 days prior to arrival date will incur the full period charge.

Failure to arrive at your hotel will be treated as a No-Show and no refund will be given (Hotel policy).

Important note re COVID-19:
Please be aware of the current risk of travel restrictions being imposed due to COVID-19, which may not be covered by travel insurance. If you are unable to travel due solely to mandatory travel restrictions and/or lock-downs, or having to quarantine on arrival in Tasmania, we will assist you with moving your booking within 12 months of cancellation. If you instead request a full cancellation within 14 days of arrival, a cancellation fee of $15 + 1.8% of the booking value will be charged at the owner's discretion, and the balance refunded via fund transfer.

We request that any cancellations due to COVID be advised as soon as possible so that we are given the opportunity to offer the accommodation to other guests.

Payment Policy

Mastercard or Visa card details for payment must be provided at the time of booking.

Credit card details will be retained on file and payment for the full amount will be processed 14 days prior to your arrival.

For bookings made through third party agents, payment may will be processed in line with the individual booking terms from that third party website who may choose to take full payment at the time of booking. This will be disclosed to you at the time of booking by the third party booking agent.

For approved guests, payment can be made directly into Kangaroo Bay Apartments' bank account:
